Dragon 6542 - 1/35 "Sd.Kfz.7/2 3.7cm FLAK 37 w/TANK CAB (2 IN 1)"
Half-tracks were heavily used by Germany during World War II and one of the larger types was the Sd.Kfz.7. Germany classified it as a medium half-track, but it had an impressive towing capacity of 8 tons. The first production half-tracks appeared in 1938 and were commonly used to tow the 8.8 cm FlaK gun and 15 cm sFH.18 howitzer. They could also transport up to twelve troops. Some Sd.Kfz.7 chassis were also used to carry 20mm or 37mm anti-aircraft guns as self-propelled gun carriages. Examples are the Sd.Kfz. 7/1 armed with a 2cm Flakvierling 38 quadruple cannon and the Sd.Kfz. 7/2 with a single 3.7 cm FlaK 36 gun. These were all made as 1/35 scale kits by Dragon.
