Bloody Friday - The fate of the German fighter Kurland (DVD)

When the Red Army on 20 October 1944 north of Memel reached the Baltic coast, the further east standing Army Group North from all land routes are cut off to the west. Hitler understood the units to "Army Group Kurland" together and commands resistance to the last man at war, some 3,000 troops to flee to neutral Sweden, where it accommodates them in camps and reassure them, not hand them over to the Soviet Union. A promise is not kept.
