By the end of the 1930s, the Rheinmetall-Borsig armaments company had already gained extensive experience in using solid-fuel rockets for short-range military bombing. The German military suggested that the company develop a replacement rocket for solid-fuel rockets in case the V1 or V2 design and construction plan failed. By May 1942, Rheinmetall-Bosinger had drawn up a multi-stage solid-fuel rocket plan with a 1,225 kilogram warhead and a maximum range of 241 kilometers. Although a production contract was signed, it soon became clear that the rocket would have a long development cycle, and attention was shifted to a smaller rocket that could be brought into combat more quickly. Rh.Z.61/9 was selected as the final model and was given the name "Rheinmetall". It is a four-stage, tail-stabilized rocket with no guidance system. Without a guidance system, it cannot deliver its 40 kilogram warhead precisely. Although the Wehrmacht had strong reservations about the practicality of the design, the SS believed that the rocket had great potential to destroy Allied targets and placed a production order for the Rheinbote rocket in November 1944.
The test unit of the "Rheinbote rocket" was the 709th Artillery Battalion, stationed in Nunspeet, Netherlands. It used this type of rocket to take part in the bombing of the port facilities of Antwerp in Belgium from Christmas 1944 to January 1945. Ultimately, only 4 of the 12 launchers originally intended for the division were used. Some of the "Rhine Messengers" were installed on the Flak41's carriages for launch. Since there is no guidance system, the hit rate of this bomb is extremely limited. The project was finally completed in February 1945.

The SdKfz.6 5t is one of a series of half-track vehicles developed by the Wehrmacht in the late 1930s; it is mainly used for towing artillery or for various purposes. The Sdkfz.6 weighs about 9 tons and has a loading capacity of 5 tons. It is usually used to tow the 10.5 cm leFH 18 howitzer. Later in the war, some were fitted with a 3.7 cm Flak.36 on the rear loading platform. This model was designated the 3.7 cm Flak.36 auf Selbstfahrlafette SdKfz.6/2. A total of 339 units were produced from 1941-43. All of these vehicles were distributed to mobile air defense units of the Luftwaffe to replace the SdKfz.7/2. In combat operations, they are mostly used for air defense of tank troops.

The 3.7cm Type 18 anti-aircraft gun was developed from the 2cm Type 30 anti-aircraft gun. It simply extended the original small-caliber anti-aircraft gun to increase range and power. In 1935, the German company Rheinmetall began developing a 3.7cm anti-aircraft gun. At that time, only a small number of Type 18s were produced. Later, the Type 18 was replaced by the Type 36 and the weight was reduced from the original 1757 kg to 1544 kg. In combat, the 3.7 cm Type 36 anti-aircraft gun is usually carried on a two-wheeled carrier or mounted directly on a light vehicle such as the SdKfz.6 or 7 and the sWS half-track vehicle. Its rate of fire is 160 rounds per minute and its effective range is 2,000 meters. After 1942, it was replaced by the newer 3.7 cm Type 37 anti-aircraft gun, which featured an updated visual aiming system. Most of the older Type 36s were upgraded to Type 37 standards before the end of the war.

Product description:
The Sd.Kfz.6 5t half-track tractor was developed in 1934 by the Bussing-NAG factory. Later, the BN9 model began using the Maybach NL38 TUK100 engine. It reaches a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour and can carry 7 passengers. A total of 3,500 units were produced. The Sd.Kfz.6 5t half-track tractor was developed as a troop transport type (Sd.Kfz.6) and as an artillery type (Sd.Kfz.6/1), as well as a type with a thirty-seven millimeter Flak 36 anti-aircraft gun (Sd.Kfz .6/2 ). A total of nine half-track tractors of the BN9b chassis were modified by the German Afrika Korps with large armor plates on the body and equipped with a Russian-made 7.62 cm anti-tank gun as a self-propelled anti-tank gun for use in North Africa. This anti-tank gun, modified by the German army, was named “Diana” by the British army. According to data, the Sd.Kfz.6 half-track tractor was widely used on all fronts of the Second World War.
