More than 22,500 examples of the Sd.Kfz.251 half-track were manufactured for the German military during World War II and took part in all battlefields from Europe to North Africa. Introduced in late 1943, the 8-ton Ausf.D half-track was the final design of this famous German half-track, with various modifications to simplify and thus speed up construction. Dragon has now put together two special variants of the Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf.D half-track series for model builders.

There were more than 20 different variants of each Sd.Kfz.251 production type. What these two plastic kits have in common is that they all have powerful weapons mounted in the rear compartment of the halftrack. These German halftrack kits contain accurately modeled weapons and highly detailed vehicles. Additionally, they feature EZ rails for added convenience, eliminating the need for modelers to file and sand. These vehicles may be half-tracks, but they're certainly fully armed!
