Dragon is collecting two different Panzer IVs that feature a short-barreled main gun to make them available to modelers once again in 1/35 scale. More than 8,500 Pz.Kpfw.IV tanks were produced from 1936 till April 1945, making it the second-most numerous German tracked vehicle of WWII. Earlier marks featured a 7.5cm KwK.37 L/24 cannon, since the Panzer IV was originally conceived as an infantry support tank. Thus, the Panzer IV Ausf.A, B, C, D, E and F all sported this short-barreled weapon.
This pair of tank represents a good cross-section of early-war Panzer IVs possessing the 24-caliber 7.5cm gun. Naturally, each kit is full of accurate details. Parts are well engineered in order to depict the correct details pertinent to each mark. Furthermore, they include Magic Tracks and a useful selection of photo-etched parts. Moreover, a Bonus aluminum barrel with Rifling is offered in both items. With this collection, Dragon has really rolled out the barrel!
