The year 1944 was a devastating year for Germany as the tide of war inexorably turned against Germany. The Red Army recaptured territory it had lost much earlier, after Germany launched Operation Barbarossa, and was now crossing its pre-war borders into Eastern Europe. On the Western Front, the British and Americans were advancing through Italy and had passed through France after the D-Day landings. German tanks were heavily involved in these retreats and counter-attacks, and Dragon have assembled some of their classic 1/35 scale kits to commemorate the late 1944 World War II era.
These tanks fought on the front lines on either the Eastern or Western fronts, or both. This collection contains classic Dragon tanks that have been hard to come by for a while. They are the perfect starting point for modelers who want to represent a scene from late 1944, such as: B. the Ardennes offensive, which is Germany's last major offensive of the war.
