The Sd.Kfz.6 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 6) was a half-track military vehicle of the German Wehrmacht during World War II. It was designed as the main towing vehicle for the 10.5 cm leFH 18 howitzer. Standard half-track vehicle used to tow various artillery pieces and transport up to fifteen people. Sd.Kfz 6, equipped with a 3.7 cm Flak 36 cannon, the sides folded down to create space for working. Crew of seven. However, it proved to be far too expensive and was replaced by cheaper half-tracks in 1941. Existing Sd.Kfz. 6s were then retained in the German army.
